First off, I didn’t mean to, well…hijack this video with mostly personal opinion of how hard creating content can be. In fact, I really love creating amazing or fun content for you guys, which is why I love Casey Neistat’s commercial about the subject. But sometimes what comes out comes out. If you haven’t seen Casey Neistat’s commercial, go watch it. I’ve got some YouTube friends who’s videos were also featured in the commercial which is really cool. In the commercial Casey talks about how content creators should be celebrated for doing what they do with little equipment and big ambitions. I personally loved what was said in the commercial and closely connect to it. So yes, I’m telling the Honest Truth about creating content, but I want to point out also that I couldn’t imagine doing anything else. Many of you know that I started a second channel, and I’m putting a lot of energy and time into it. I’m still vlogging on this channel, but lately feel a bit burned out. This commercial has brought out the fire again in vlogging, which is really the point of what I’m trying to say in this video. And who better to know about vlogging than Casey Neistat?! Okay, maaaaybe Superwoman….and iJustine! If you liked this video please thumbs it up and share it, thank you.
Soooo….just letting you know that I have this other YouTube channel called Richclashchair ASMR and I think it’s pretty amazing! If you like video games, check it out, if you like ASMR, check it out, if you like roleplay….what are you waiting for already?! I’m starting out with The Legend Of Zelda as a starting point. Along the way I’ll be throwing in some Final Fantasy, maybe some Mario Bros. and really just anything else you guys request. This has been a passion project idea of mine for quite some time now so yeah, I’m really excited (and a little bit nervous) to build this channel. I think honestly one of the main reasons I started a roleplay/gaming/asmr channel is simply because I love to relax and also tell stories. If this isn’t your interest, honestly that’s okay, it’s mine. But if you really do like all these things combined (gaming, roleplay, and asmr) then trust me you will LOVE this channel! It will be an action packed, romance involved, expectation twister. So now that I’ve told you the biggest reason (or rather reasons) why you should check out my new channel, Richclashchair ASMR, what I would like you to do is go over there, watch a few videos, and leave some comments so I know you watched them. If you liked this video please thumbs it up and share it, thank you.
I’m sooooo incredibly excited to share this huge announcement with you guys, I started a second channel!! Don’t worry, I will still be vlogging on this channel, but I wanted to start a new passion project. My second channel is an ASMR roleplay channel based off of video games such as The Legend Of Zelda currently and moving into Final Fantasy, Mario Bros, and other games. ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response and is that oh so good tingly feeling you get on your head and down your spine from triggers such as audio and visual stimulation. ASMR is also helpful in aiding sleep and stress reduction as many of the triggers used in the therapy are stress reducing and relaxing. I’ve been watching ASMR videos for over a year now almost every night because I sometimes get stressed and can’t sleep some nights, it’s difficult for me. I decided to add a gaming twist to it because honestly I love YouTube roleplays and I’ve had some pretty epic video game story lines stuck in my head for the last ten years or so. My second channel so far only has a few videos on it, but monthly I’ll be adding about three or so new videos so you’ll definitely want to stick around and watch for them to come! If you liked this video please thumbs it up and share it, thank you.
Today I got to work with Freakin Rad and Kuma Films and it was freakin’ rad! They needed a few extras on set today and I thought since I’ve done a lot of YouTube acting and I vlog that I would sign up…and I got a part! So basically I get there and my buddy Patrick Hayes calls me and says to go into Guru’s restaurant because they were filming behind there after they got the other shot done. So I’m in the restaurant waiting and after a while Patrick shows up and we go out back into the parking lot. There I found a food truck and some of the Freakin Rad film crew there. Then this extremely cute blonde girl shows up and it turns out that she was actually going to be acting with me. We talked for a minute and then all of a sudden there was a problem with the food truck….it wouldn’t start and they needed to move it into position! So all the guys started pushing it and finally got it where it needed to be. Shortly after Freakin Rad wanted Char (the cute blonde girl) and myself to go up to the food truck and start acting like we were a couple on a date ordering some food, so we did. The second scene involved robbers who run out of a building and head our way and that’s when Char and I run for our lives. Those were the only two scenes in the film that I had and Char was with me the whole time. I felt bad for not talking to her much on set, but I think we were both pretty cold and almost completely frozen on set so whatever. If you liked the video thumbs it up and share it, thank you.
The Strike is my favorite band of all time. They are local and what I love about them most is that they always bring tons of energy to their live concerts. I had the pleasure of attending The Strike’s live concert at Velour Live Music Gallery in Provo, Utah and once again they were….amazing! I’ve followed The Strike for years, although recently haven’t been to a concert of theirs lately due to being really busy with my channel on YouTube. There was another band there tonight at Velour Live Music Gallery that was from Australia opening for The Strike called Drawing North and they were really good! I got one of the band members to say hello in the beginning of the Vlog. This concert was so fun, and it was even more fun with my friends Aimee Vargas, Tyler, Aryn, Demi and a few others. Aimee is the one I’ve mentioned before in other vlogs because she is also in a wheelchair and has Spina Bifida like me. She’s one of the most notorious local music promoters in Utah and everyone here in the music industry knows her. It’s great to be back with the old gang again for another epic concert. Also, go watch Warriors by The Strike and you will see Aimee, Tyler, and myself in the music video! If you liked this video please thumbs it up and share it, thank you.
VR is fast becoming the biggest trend on YouTube. So without further ado, I bring you one of my wheelchair point of view videos in…VR! I had a lot of fun making this video and figuring out how to make a VR video particularly, and it was actually pretty simple. In fact, making a VR video is actually more simple than I thought it would be. It’s a bit tricky, but simple. So in this video I basically just take you around some neighborhoods and down town in my wheelchair, it’s really that basic. However, it’s quite a different feel to be in a wheelchair, which is why I wanted you to see what it’s like for me on a daily basis. For example, sitting down means I am quite a bit shorter than everyone else standing up (unless you are eight years old, haha). This means it’s going to be a different vantage point, but that’s actually the point of this video. I want you all to see what I see every single day. It might be a strange thing to get use to at first, but i assure you that as you watch this video over and over again, you will get use to the idea of what I see on a daily basis in a wheelchair. Just make sure that when you watch this video you put on your virtual reality headset so you can properly enjoy this video. If you liked this video please thumbs it up and share it, thank you.
